A bit about me

2015

Around the world

Living in the US for a year taught me skills, showed me different lifestyles, and helped me learn English being immersed in it. It also instilled a strong work ethic and dedication that I still carry today in my professional life.

2017

University

I was uncertain about my studies in Marketing and Business Management. Although I don't use much of what I learned in my daily work, it provided me with a strong knowledge base and many wonderful human connections.

2018

Working as a Designer

After an internship abroad, I started self-teaching myself design through book, courses, and by exchanging ideas with experts in the field. It didn’t take long before I went out there and found the first client.

2019

Challenge and
opportunity

COVID

I can’t hide it, 2020 was hard. I was studying, working, and and taking part in ICARO, a 6-month Entrepreneurship Program. All while the pandemic was unfolding. Despite the difficulties it was a crucial year for my professional and personal development.

2021

Through the grind

2021 was a year of focused hard work and improvements. Many lessons learned through client work and personal projects. It was also the year in which I focused most of my energy on freelance business. It later paid off.

2022

Achieving

The fullest year of my life. I worked all year from various countries across Europe (Portugal, I miss you). In 2022, I worked with incredible clients, achieving remarkable results for both them and me. I won multiple awards for my work, and this website ended up in the Webflow top 10 of the year.

Up To 2019

Focus

All throughout my life I have practiced drawing, painting, photography, digital media, sculpture, and ceramics. I attended a specialized school for visual art that not only allowed me stretch my creative muscles from a very early age, but also helped hone those skills.

2019

University

Having focused on art for so much of my life, I didn't want to restrict myself. I majored in Computer Science with a minor in Business Management at Case Western Reserve University. I loved the logical and problem solving aspects of CS, coding allowed me to be creative in an entirely different way.

2020

Working as a developer & designer

During school I began working for a startup that focused on AI/ML Software Products. I specifically worked as a QA Analyst first, and after a few months advanced to a software dev/AI consultant role, where I got to work on UX and product design.

2022

Challenge and
opportunity

Work After Graduation

After graduating in December of 2022, I continued my work with the startup designing and developing software products. I managed and built these products from start to finish, working closely with the CEO, as well as senior members of the strategy, design, and development teams. After a few projects it was clear that the aspect I enjoyed most was the UX and Product Design work.

2023

Learning UX & Product design

With my newfound passion, I decided to invest in a UX/Product design class. I completed a full-time in-person 12 week UX Design Immersive bootcamp. UX and Product Design were the perfect pairing of logical problem-solving, collaboration, and creativity. It was amazing!
